香は凝縮感がある。チェリーリップ、タフィー、チョコレート、メープルフラップジャックケーキにオレンジの皮、磨いたオークや樹脂を感じる。味はとっても凝縮されているようだ。「水の中から叫んでいる」とウィスキーの科学者が言う。フレーバーは甘く（パンケーキの ヌテラNutella添え, ピーカンパイ) そしてスパイシーさ（アニスシード、キャラウェイ）その間にカレーの中のココナッツを感じる。加水するとコアントロー、花やミント、スパイスガールのような感じ– 沢山のお愛想を振りまきながらサッカリンのハーモニーを奏でる。テイストも同じだ。「素敵な服に包まれたナイスボディー」、「多くのフレーバーだが特別複雑感はない。」タイン側の蒸留所。
The nose was intense; we discovered cherry lips, toffee, chocolate and maple flapjacks, plus orange peel, polished oak and resin. The palate seemed very concentrated, `crying out for water` said the Whisky-scientist. Flavours were sweet (pancakes with Nutella, pecan pie) and spicy (aniseed, caraway) with coconut in curry in between. The reduced nose, with Cointreau, flowers and mint, had a Spice Girls feel to it - an assemblage of complimentary components, singing in saccharine harmony. The same was true of the taste - `a nice body in a nice dress`, full of flavour but not particularly complex. The distillery is near Tain.
