「スコットランドの大人気モルト」のまたひとつの好例。 ヘーゼルナッツと樹液たっぷりの木が火のついていない煙草と、後からひとすじの煙を伴ってスイカズラとジャスミンにとって代わる。ソフトファッジとちょっぴりのココナッツを含む濃厚でクリーミーな香り。そのクリーミーさは口の中で至福の時を繰り返す。味は甘く、途中アマリロ・リキュールを思わせる甘さと滑らかさ。 加水によりこのウイスキーは、より華やかさを増す。新鮮なココナッツとバラの花弁、そしてひとつまみの葉巻の灰。舌触りはまだ絹のように滑らか。味は缶詰の桃のような甘み、ミディアムフィニッシュは灰っぽい。 我々は“ザ・サヴォイ（イギリスの象徴的ホテル）”のスイートルームでくつろぐ、絹のネグリジェをまとった貴婦人を思い起こした。 ソサエティ日本支部の一言【甘くない白桃。クレームブリュレやココナッツ、花の香り。シルキーでホワイトチョコを思わせる味わい。みずみずしい。】 カラー：ミディアムゴールド(0.3) Another superb example of ‘Scotland’s favourite malt’. Hazel nuts and sappy wood give way to honeysuckle and jasmine, with traces of unlit cigarettes, and later a faint wisp of smoke. A thick, creamy nose, with soft fudge and hints of coconut – and the creaminess is repeated big time in the mouth. The taste is sweet, with Amarillo liqueur; mid palate and smooth. Water makes it more floral – rose petals with fresh coconut, and a hint of cigar ash; the texture is still silky smooth; the taste sweet (tinned peaches) and the medium finish is ashy. We thought of a classy dame in a silk negligee, lounging in her suite at The Savoy. Colour: Mid gold (0.3)
