これは若々しいがしっかりしたウイスキーの香りだった – 強いバニラスポンジケーキの香り、アプリコットジャム、マーマレード、ジャファ・ケーキ、トフィーボンボン、そしてバターを塗ったパンケーキ – しかし他の興味深い要素が織り込まれている – カーマインローション化粧品、ドアマット、エマルジョンペイント、そしてミツバチ燻煙器（木材、レザー、焦げたボール紙、ワックス、蜂蜜）。
味は、チリ／マスタードの辛さとヒリヒリ感が水で和らげられて、魅力的な甘い風味（アイシング掛けスポンジケーキ、バニラファッジ、ブランデークッキー、トゥッティフルッティ・アイスクリーム、スパイス入りフルーツケーキ、アプリコットデニッシュ）、少しだけ革製刻み煙草入れの土っぽい感触が強まった、複雑ではないが美味しくて後を引くウイスキーが残る。

This was the nose of a youthful but well-made dram - big vanilla sponge cake notes, apricot jam, marmalade, Jaffa cakes, toffee bonbons and buttered pancakes - but with other interesting elements woven through - calamine lotion, doormats, emulsion paint and bee smokers (wood, leather, burnt cardboard, wax and honey).
On the palate, chilli/mustard heat and tingles softened with water, leaving an uncomplicated but tasty and moreish dram, full of attractive sweet flavours (iced sponge cake, vanilla fudge, brandy snaps, tutti-frutti ice-cream, spiced fruit cake, apricot Danish) and subtle, slightly more earthy touches of leather tobacco pouches.
