To taste the Dame presented more of her favourite pudding with lashings of strawberry and peach jam, fruit peel and a hint of violet. Water developed cloudy apple juice, fruit scones with clotted cream. Comforting Bakewell tart and semolina. Dried flowers and green apples with a little woodiness like pencil shavings cut through the sweet notes leaving a crisp finish.
