古典的でスモーキーな、芳香を放つ1杯 Classic smoky, perfumed dram

柔らかい煙が土っぽい芳香（ダンネージ、小石の浜、炭塵、ピートの炉床、牡蠣の殻）を放つ考古学発掘現場を流れた。他の興味深い「発見」もパネルを興奮させた – ライム、焼けた小枝、スパイシーなグリル焼き肉、バッテンバーグケーキ、そして香りの良い革手袋。 ストレートの味は素晴らしく、古典的な例 – スモーキーで良い香り – 焼けた炉床、ホタテ貝のバーベキュー、ラベンダー、スミレ、そして塩漬けライム。 加水した香りは洗いたての洗濯物、潮だまり、ストロベリー・レース・リコリス、粉末ジュース。味は海のしぶきに甘いピートの煙が混じり、蜂蜜でコーティングした香りの良い花々の長く後を引く、満足のゆくフィニッシュ。 この蒸溜所は1779年からずっと稼働している。 Gentle smoke drifted across an archaeological dig of earthy aromas (dunnage, pebble beach, coal-dust, peat hearth, oyster shells); other interesting ‘finds’ excited the panel – lime, burnt twigs, spicy grilled meats, Battenberg cake and perfumed soft leather gloves. The neat palate was a fantastic, classic example of the make – smoky and perfumed – burnt heather, barbecued scallops, lavender, violets and salted limes. Water brought fresh laundry, rock-pools, strawberry laces and purple sherbet straws to the nose. The taste now blended sweet peat smoke into sea-spray, with a long, lingering and satisfying finish of honey-coated perfumed flowers. The distillery has been working since 1779.
