「サモワールを囲んだ楽しいひととき」 ‘To have a sit by the Samovar’

このサンプルは、かなり静かな始まりながら、極めて高度な複雑さと洗練を示していた。現れた芳香は春のにわか雨の後の土臭い林床、新しい段ボール箱、それからマヌカ蜂蜜、メープルシロップ、ロクム、古風な茶箱に移り、ビルベリー・ソルベで終わった。味はモロッコの甘いスパイスが勢揃い、そこに生の杏子とプラム、ジューシーなサルタナもあって、フィニッシュはダークチョコレート。一滴の水を加えると、火を点けていない甘い葉巻と伝統的なロシアのサモワールで淹れた湿った茶葉、そしてキンカン、シーバックソーンの実、ピスタチオナッツが現れた。 This sample was showing extreme complexity and sophistication albeit from a fairly quiet start. Aromas appeared of an earthy forest floor following a spring shower, new cardboard boxes to Manuca honey, maple syrup, Turkish delight and an old fashioned tea chest finishing with blaeberry sorbet. The taste opens up a whole array of sweet Moroccan spices as well as fresh apricots and plums, juicy sultanas and in the finish dark chocolate. A drop of water revealed a sweet unlit cigar and damp tea leaves prepared in the traditional Russian samovar way and flavours of kumquat, sea buckthorn berries and pistachio nuts.
