最初のひと嗅ぎ―擦ったマッチと遠くの花火―の後で、春の嵐の後のバラの茂みのような新鮮な花の香りへと変わる。時を経るごとに、蜜蝋、バニラのさや、チョコレートチップクッキーのような、さらに深く温かみを増すアロマがあらわれる。 味は、フレンチクレープにかかっている蜂蜜とメープルシロップのクリミィーでバターのような感じを思い起させる。加水すると、ペイストリーやフルーツケーキ、シェリートライフルや全体に粉砂糖がふられたレーズンパンをおくケーキ屋の中に入ったよう。温かなフルーツとレーズン入りのバタースコーン、または、ボーンヴィルのダークチョコレートにディップされたコーニッシュクローテッドクリームのアイスクリームの味で笑顔になる。 この蒸溜所は1897年の創業以来たった5名のマネージャーしか携わっていない。 カラー: アンティーク ゴールド (0.9) ソサエティ日本支部の一言【パンケーキにかけたメイプルシロップとホイップクリーム。深く温かい味わい。】 After the initial whiff of a struck match and a distant firework the nose turned fresh and floral like a rose bush after an April shower. With time deeper and warmer aromas appear like beeswax, vanilla pods, and chocolate chip cookies. The taste is creamy and buttery reminiscence of honey and maple syrup on French crepes. With the addition of water we enter a cake shop with pastries, fruit cakes, sherry trifles and raisin loaves all covered in icing sugar. The taste does make you smile like eating a hot fruit raisin buttered scone or Cornish Clotted Cream Ice Cream dipped in dark Bournville chocolate.
