即座に円熟を感じるが、穏やかに開いてゆく – 「年配だが、はつらつとして元気」。ゲヴュルツトラミネール – 甘い／酸っぱい香りで、レモン、ライム、パイナップル、ライチを伴う – そこに焦げたカラメル、ギンセンソウの花、そして時々、バターたっぷりのトフィー。 絹のように滑らかで、ピリッとした口当たりと甘い味、マサラ、シナモン、クミンがあって、スパイシーなフィニッシュ。加水すると、亜麻仁油とキャラウェイシードが立ち上がり、「暖かい車の中のレザーシート」がある – そしてソーセージがかすかに。 質感は滑らかなままで、味は甘く、ロクムとピスタチオを伴い、少しナッティな後味の中にはローストしたズッキーニがわずかにある。 Immediately mellow, but opens gently: ‘elderly, but fresh and lively’. Gewurztraminer grapes – a sweet/sour note, with lemon, lime, pineapple and lychees – with burnt caramel, honesty blossom and, in time, buttery toffee. A silky-smooth, hot mouthfeel and a sweet taste, with masala, cinnamon and cumin and a spicy finish. Water raises linseed oil and caraway seeds, with ‘leather seats in a warm car’ – and traces of sausage meat. The texture remains smooth and the taste sweet, with Turkish Delight and pistachio nuts, and a trace of roasted courgette in the lightly nutty aftertaste.
