［ノーズ］オールドのイエロー・シャルトリューズのようなハーブリキュール、ユーカリ、森林の地面、ジャスミン、ポプリ、砂糖がけフルーツ、レモンピール、白檀、とあらゆる種類の香りと微かなワクシーさが複雑に香る。加水すると焼きたての黒パン、タマリンドペースト、ヒマワリオイル、トーストしたヘーゼルナッツ、ブラックベリーとトリークルタルト。シェリー樽熟成のウイスキーのようにも感じる。 ［パレット］滑らかでシルキーな口当たりをまず感じ、ダンネージ庫、熟成したソーテルヌ、ランシオ、広葉樹、湿った袋布、カレーリーフ、サルタナと鉱油の調和の取れた味わい。一度味わいが去ると熟したみかん、ターキッシュデライト、ダージリンティー、シナモン、ブラックペッパーとレモンメレンゲパイ。荘厳なウイスキーだ！ 26年間bourbon hogsheadで熟成後、toasted second 2nd fill hogsheadに移し替え。 A sublime aroma aged herbal liqueurs such as old yellow Chartreuse, eucalyptus, forest floor, jasmine, pot pourri, crystalised fruits, lemon peel, sandalwood and all manner of subtle waxy complexities. With a splash of water there arises notes of freshly baked brown bread, tamarind paste, sunflower oil, toasted hazelnuts, botrytis, bramble jam and treacle tart. It could almost be a sherry matured whisky noted the Panel. The mouth is pristinely silky at first. Harmonious notes of dunnage, aged Sauternes, rancio, precious hardwoods, damp sack cloth, curry leaf, sultanas and mineral oil. Reduction gives ripe mandarin, Turkish delight, darjeeling tea, cinnamon balls, black pepper and lemon meringue pie. Majestic whisky! Matured for 26 years in a bourbon hogshead before transfer to a toasted second-fill hogshead.
