沈黙は金なり Silence is golden

アロマの香、アイシング用粉砂糖。香木、エキゾティックフルーツボール。パネルはフルストレングスの香を、時間をかけて楽しんだ。飲むのはもったいない香。かなりいい。つまり完璧とは言えない。味は重くスパイシーでチャーしたウッドやシナモンスパイスにフィニッシュはトロピカルフルーツ。加水すると香は鉛筆削りや缶詰のフルーツサラダに変わる。味は焦げたウッドのフレーバーがビターチョコレートのフィニッシュに絡みつく。パネルからのコメントは少なく、満足げににやりとする。沈黙は金なり。エルギンにある二つの蒸留所の古い方のウィスキー。 The nose brought a bouquet of aromas - icing sugar. Scented wood and an exotic fruit bowl. The Panel spent a lot time on the full strength nose; it was almost too good to drink, almost but not quite. The palate is full and spicy; charred wood and cinnamon spice with a little tropical fruit at the finish. With water the noses detected pencil shavings and tinned fruit salad. On the palate there was a burnt wood flavour entwined with a bitter chocolate finish. There weren't too many words from the Panel, just satisfying grins. Silence is golden. From the older of Elgin's two distilleries.
