Manna – angels’ delight! /
マナ–天使の喜び！

[ノーズ]ピーティーなウィスキー、バニラを漬け込んだバーボンウイスキー、ハチミツに浸したチェリーから、非常に穏やかなスモークを感じる。天国のマナ！ ［パレット］口に含むと、ダークトリークル、ジンジャーピクルス、食欲をそそる油分を感じる甘さと、聖公会のすみれ色の香りのよいスモーク。加水すると、スカパフローに向かい、船上で海水で料理したエビをバター、スパイスで味付けし、ヘザーエールのボトルを開けるところがイメージに浮かぶ。モルティさ、ハーブスパイス、フローラルピートを感じるフィニッシュ。 8年熟成の後、同蒸溜所の異なるホグスヘッドカスクを後塾、それらのカスクの内の1つ。 A very gentle wisp of smoke came from cherries soaked in peaty whisky, vanilla-infused bourbon whiskey and honey – manna from heaven! On the palate dark treacle and pickled ginger were followed by a mouth-watering oily sweetness and an episcopal violet fragrant smoke. Diluted we sailed into Scapa Flow and prepared potted shrimps cooked on-board in seawater then tossed in butter and seasoned with spices as we opened a bottle of heather ale – malty with herbal spice and a floral peaty finish. At eight years of age, we combined selected hogsheads from the same distillery into a variety of different casks to marry. This is one of those casks.
