Sweet, dusty and secretive /
甘く、微かで密やか

[ノーズ]焼きリンゴ、シナモン、焦がし砂糖、デーツとマジパン。ラムネ菓子、ヘーゼルナッツの殻、煙草、バルサの木と羊皮紙。 [パレット]キャラメル、トフィー、ドリーミクスチャー等の甘味と亜麻仁油、ブラジルナッツ、トースト、胡椒、シナモン、ジンジャースナップス。鼻から抜けると更に甘いダークチョコレート、バニラ、バタースコッチ、ねっとりとしたトフィープリン、秘密の場所に隠されているバーボン、麻、木材の微かな味わい。甘美なハチミツ、革、サクサクしたトフィー、ダイジェスティブビスケットと滑らかでふくよかな木材。 The nose gave us baked apple, cinnamon, sugar buns, dates and marzipan; it was dusty too (chalky sweets, hazelnut shells, tobacco, balsa wood and papyrus). The palate held pleasant sweetness (caramel, toffee, dolly mixtures) with some treacly depth; also some linseed oil and Brazil nuts and a warming finish of burnt toast, pepper, cinnamon and ginger snaps. The reduced nose seemed sweeter – dark chocolate, vanilla, butterscotch and sticky toffee pudding – subtle hints of bourbon, hessian and wood suggested cherished, secret places. The palate became mellifluous yet drying (honey on leather), with cinder toffee and digestive biscuit sweetness and gently tingling woodiness.
