[ノーズ]香りの宝庫。ヘーゼルナッツコーヒー、甘いアマレットビスケット、焼きたてのアップルパイ、ジャマイカのジンジャーケーキ、昔ながらのダンネージ式熟成庫とほのかなタバコ。 [パレット]味わいはとてもジューシーで、熱々の生姜のスパイスが効いたホットワイン、フサスグリの風味が心地よく持続する。ほんの一滴加水すると、暖かみのある木の香り、木に座ってアプリコットを食べている、古いウイスキーの樽木を削っているイメージが浮かぶ。チョコレートコーティングの砂糖漬けオレンジスライス、ドイツのダークチョコレートラムボール、リンゴとシナモンのクランブルへと変わる。 A cornucopia of aromas; hazelnut coffee with a sweet amaretto biscuit, baked apple pie, Jamaican ginger cake, old fashioned dunnage warehouse and a hint of tobacco. Very juicy on the palate neat with plenty of heat like ginger-spiced mulled wine and a pleasant lasting finish of redcurrant relish. When we added a drop of water a warm woody aroma emerged and while one of us sat in a tree eating apricots, the others carved wood from of old whisky staves. The taste was now chocolate dipped-candied orange slices, German dark chocolate rum-balls and apple cinnamon crumble.
