［ノーズ］クリーンで爽やかな甘さはマッハ（スコットランドの海岸線）での最初の暖かな日、もしくはゴルフコースの最初のラウンドのようで、湧水が湧き出し、芝生が隆起していて、私はこのコースでバーディーを取れるだろうか。 [パレット]辛いわさびと燃えるようなタイのシラチャ豆で甘くスパイシーな熱さが忍び寄ってくる。ところがフィニッシュにはカリカリのペパーミントとミルクチョコレート。加水するとクラブハウスのバーに到着し、海を見下ろしながらよく冷えたスイカとライムのラムカクテルのご褒美を楽しんでいる。 A clean refreshing sweetness, like the first warm day of the year over the machair or the first round on a links golf course – ‘spring has sprung, the grass is ris and I wonder where the birdies is?’ A sweet spicy heat was creeping up on us like hot wasabi and fiery Thai sriracha peas. In the finish however, milk chocolate with crunchy peppermint. When adding water, we arrived at the nineteenth hole and enjoyed a watermelon lime chiller with a liberal dash of rum overlooking the sea feeling ‘as pleased as punch’ and enjoying our well-deserved reward.
