[ノーズ]最初の香りは美しく、柔らかで香りよく、軽いオリーブオイル、刈った芝、カーボンペーパー、古いインク壺、無煙炭、挽きたてのモルト、麦芽糖、スコッチブロス、セラーノハムの香り。ラノリン、ミネラルオイル、ハーブティーの香りも隠れている。加水するとより彫り深いきちんとした味わい。チョーク、小石、グラファイト、針葉樹のスパイス、バターのようなトースト感。熟成したモンラッシュのよう。 [パレット]味わいはまずセージ、レモンの皮と咳止め薬、月桂樹の葉、ティーツリーオイルのパテ。軽やかだが印象的な複雑さがある。ココナッツウォーター、ペトリコール、トレイルミックスタラゴン、ローズゼリーと軽くすっきりした味わい。フィニッシュはマジョラム、イラクサティー、ハリエニシダ、後味に長引くワックス感。 The initial nose was beautifully soft, fragrant and scented with notes of light olive oil, cut grass, carbon paper, old ink wells, anthracite, freshly kilned malt, barley sugars, Scotch broth and Serrano ham. Further notes of lanolin, mineral oils and herbal teas lingered underneath. Water brought a more chiselled and taut profile. Full of chalk, pebbles, graphite, soft wood spices and buttery toasty qualities. Like a well-aged Montrachet. The palate displayed initial notes of sage, lemon peel and putty with cough medicines, bay leaf and tea tree oil. Still light but with an impressive complexity. Reduction brought out coconut water, petrichor, trail mix tarragon, rose jelly and a light sootiness. A soothing finish yielded marjoram, nettle tea, gorse and a lingering waxiness in the aftertaste.
