甘く、ほんのり焦がす Sweet, with a touch of char

パネルは、先ず甘いモルトと大麦糖のアロマを認め、次に、甘い香りのホワイトラムが続き、それから、かすかに薬品の香り（包帯、医療用のキャンディー、メンソール）を感じる。味は、甘く（パフキャンディー、チョコレート）、ほのかに焦げ目（カラメル色に煮込んだリンゴ、クリームブリュレ）、しかしその後ろに、良質のウッディーなスパイスが感じられる。加水によって、ジャム入りドーナッツやキャンディーの袋が香り、さらに、松とメンソールが加わる。しかし、今は、マカロンやパシュワリ ナン（ナッツやレーズン入りナン）など、ココナッツが連想される。あとから、メロンとブドウの芳しい甘さが香る。加水すると、味はわかりやすくなり、心地よい甘さ（タンノックのカラメルウエハース）で、フィニッシュは、程よい辛口で締めくくる。蒸溜所は、フィディック川とスペイ川が出会うところにある。 The Panel immediately identified sweet malt and barley sugar aromas, followed by perfumed white rum; then slightly medicinal impressions (bandages, medicated sweets, menthol). The palate was sweet (puff candy, chocolate) with a touch of char (caramelised apples, crime brule); behind that - nice wood spice. The reduced nose had jam doughnuts and sweetie bags along with pine and menthol - but now with suggestions of coconut (macaroons, Peshwari nan); the perfumed sweetness of melons and grapes surfaced later. The reduced palate was straightforward but pleasantly sweet (Tunnock's Caramel Wafers) with a nice drying finish. The distillery is where the Fiddich meets the Spey.
