有名シェフの王道デザート A Celebrity Chef`s Just Desserts

芳醇な香りがブランデースナップス（ブランデーの香りのクッキー）、カラメル、モラセス（糖液）、ハニーコム ファッジ、バナナトフィー、すべてを連想させる。有名シェフ監修のチョコレートボックス、ジャストデザート（王道のデザート）の植物学者を思い出す。味はデメララ酒、ムスコバト（干しイチジクをスポンジで巻いた菓子）が、味覚を攻め立てる。そしてマディラ酒のボトルとマントルピースのマッチ箱があったかもしれない。加水によって、ルバーブ　クランブル（煮たルバーブに砂糖や小麦粉を混ぜたもの）、煮リンゴやドライフルーツが香る。さらに、クスクスいりのスパイシーなモロッコの煮込み料理を感じる。加水後は、かすかに肉の味もするが、まろやかなトフィー、フルーツ、オレンジ油の味がする。蒸溜所は１８９１年に創業、現在はデュワーズ社に所属されている。■ソサエティ日本支部の一言【塩キャラメル、クリーミーなバター、栗とカカオの香ばしさ、この年数ですでに熟成感たっぷり】2009 Autumn Rlease The rich nose had us spouting suggestions ; brandy snaps , caramel, molasses, honeycomb and banana toffee. It reminded the Botanist of a celebrity chef's 'Just Desserts ' Chocolate box. Our palates were bombarded by Demerara, muscovado, fruit cake and fig rolls ; there could have been a bottle of Madeira and a matchbox on the mantelpiece. Water brought rhubarb crumble, cooking apples and dried fruit to the nose; we identified spicy Moroccan tagine stew with couscous. The reduced palate was also slightly meaty , but with mellow toffee, fruits and orange oil. The distillery dates from 1891 and is currently owned by Dewars. 2009 Autumn Rlease
