日曜日のリトルミスサンシャイン Little Miss Sunshine on a Sunday

一方には微笑ましいちっちゃなお嬢ちゃんがいて、クリスタライズドジンジャー、グレープフルーツ、ワックス掛けリンゴ、パイナップルがある。もう一方にはダイジェスティブビスケット、乾燥ココナッツ、埃っぽいミューズリ、そしてかすかな厚い段ボール紙がある。全ての力がピリッとするナツメグとパプリカに詰まっていた。刺激的な柑橘類がそれよりソフトな洋ナシとルバーブ＆カスタードグミと絡み合っていた。加水すると辛さが減り、代わりに茶色の紙に包まれた香り高い教会の花々が、ワックスキャンドルとともに現れた。ミスサンシャインは磨きたての靴を履き、髪はリンゴの香りのシャンプーで洗われ、手洗いのジャージを着ていた。そして牧師の訓話の間かじっていられるように、白いメレンゲ菓子、アニシードボール、バニラファッジを持っていた。 A warming wee lassie with crystalised ginger, grapefruit, waxy apples and pineapple on one side. Heavier notes of digestive biscuits, dessicated coconut and dusty muesli with a hint of chipboard on the other. Full strength packed in tingling nutmeg and paprika. Zesty citrus meshed with softer pear and rhubarb and custard chews. Water cooled the heat and replaced with perfumed church flowers wrapped in brown paper, along with waxed candles. Miss had newly polished shoes, apple scented shampooed hair and a hand washed jersey. She had white meringue, aniseed balls and vanilla fudge to nibble on during the sermon.
