シュワシュワと刺激し、焼けるように熱く、舌鼓を打つ旨さ Fizzling, sizzling lip-smackingness

香りは主に陽気で快活、はつらつとしていた – 清涼飲料、シャーベットレモン、パイナップルキューブ、トゥッティフルッティ・アイスクリーム、カクテルのフィジーアップル、そして花々。 だが、その下にはモラセスと五香風味の中華料理。味もやはり元気で、レモンゼストがシューシューと刺激し、ハリボ・タングファスティック、蜂蜜と松の実、そして根生姜とワサビが焼けるように熱い。 加水すると、香りの美味しい部分がひろがった – 照り焼き、バーベキューリブ、「ダディーズ」ブラウンソース。味にはまだ結構なマスタード粒とピリピリする温かさがあったが、快いウッディなスパイス、甘くグレージングしたポーク、そしてローストした桃に掛けたデメララ糖が勝っていた。 甘美に風味豊かで、強烈なフルーツ、辛いスパイス、そして舌鼓を打つ旨さ。 The nose was mainly sunny, spritzy and effervescent – refreshers, sherbet lemons, pineapple cubes, tutti-frutti ice-cream, fizzy apple and flowers; but with some underlying molasses and five-spice Chinese food. The palate was also lively; fizzling with lemon zest, Haribo Tangfastics, honey and pine and sizzling with root ginger and wasabi heat. With water, the nose developed its savoury aspects – teriyaki, barbecued ribs and Daddies brown sauce. The palate still had good mustard seed and piri-piri warmth, but majored on pleasant woody spices, sweet glazed pork and Demerara on roasted peaches: sweetly tasty, with intense fruit, drying spice and savoury lip-smackingness.
