刺激的で高揚する Stimulating and uplifting

その香りにパネルメンバーは様々な反応を示した – 干し草の山、アンティークショップの大きな古時計、香水をつけたレディにチョコレートとバラを手渡している者もいた。加水すると、刺激的で高揚感があった – 園芸用品店、常緑の登山道、バニラ、カラメル、ココナッツ、チョコレート、ジャコウ、ペパーミント。ストレートの味は芳醇で甘やかに魅力的 – バタースコッチ、ナッツたっぷりのグラノーラ、チョコレート掛けチェリー、カスタード、ミント・チョコチップ・アイスクリーム – そこにウッディなスパイス、唐辛子、レザーが深みと面白さを加えていた。加水すると、ワインガム、バニラ、トフィー、エルダーフラワーがジューシーな甘さをもたらし、ウッディなハーブ／ミント系の要素と申し分なくバランスを取った。変わっているが大いに楽しめるウイスキー。 Panel members had varied reactions to the nose – hay-bales, grandfather clocks in antique shops; one was handing chocolates and roses to a perfumed lady. With water we found it stimulating and uplifting – garden centres, ever-green mountain trails, vanilla, caramel, coconut, chocolate, musk and peppermint. The unreduced palate was mouth-filling and sweetly attractive – butterscotch, nutty granola, cherries in chocolate, custard and mint-choc-chip ice-cream – but with woody spices, chilli and leather adding depth and interest. In reduction – wine gums, vanilla, toffee and elderflower gave a juicy sweetness that nicely balanced the woody herbal and minty elements. An unusual but eminently enjoyable dram.
