[ノーズ]甘く、フルーティでジューシー。オレンジの砂糖漬けとレモン、パイナップル、アップルサワーリキュールとキャンディフロス、そして甘口のマディラ酒も後ろで隠れている。 [パレット]トフィーチョコレートエクレアとシナモンデニッシュの甘さと、それに反してかすかにチリとパチパチキャンディが口の中で感じる。花束、アプリコットジャムそして冷たいチョコレートパンの香り。デメラララム酒とレモンドリズルケーキの綿菓子添えがバランスよくあり、ハリボーとワインが漬かった木、それは滑らかな甘さだが個性を面白くする。14年間バーボン樽に寝かせた後、セカンドフィルのソーテルヌ樽で後熟。 The nose is sweet and zesty – pineapple humps, lemon drizzle cake, green apple, sherbet lemons – a citric zing, sharp as the ping of a mandolin string – but also perfumed and fresh, like yellow roses and daisy meadows. The unreduced palate has layers of complexity – lemon bonbons, stewed apples in the pan – lemon zest and sorrel bitterness – plasticine and Play-doh waxiness – coconut and tobacco depth and pleasant eucalyptus after-tingles. The reduced nose is uplifting and poignant, like zephyrs shimmering the leaves of a lemon grove; sharp as the pain of love. The reduced palate synthesises everything – bitter-sweet, mouth-tingling lemon drops of pleasure.
