いかれ帽子屋のお茶会 Mad Hatter’s tea party

リッチで芳醇な香り − ワインガム、オレンジピールの砂糖煮、クリングピーチ、蜜蝋。ルバーブを挙げたパネルメンバーもいた − 少し渋い − その後「ロイヤルミルクティーに浸したリッチティービスケット」、マヌカハニー入りジンジャーブレッド、そして微かにスターアニス。味は豊かで滑らか − 甘く（串に刺した焼きマシュマロ）、フィニッシュにはタバコとチリスパイス。加水するとさらにドライでウッディになり、亜麻仁油、オーツ麦に溶かしバター、 ピーナッツオイル、パンケーキの練り粉、スパイス。味はやはり甘く、滑らかでスパイシー。「マンゴーティー」という声が上がり、クリスマスのミンスパイのようなドライフルーツミックスがあった。 A rich and mellow nose: wine gums, crystallised orange peel, cling peaches, beeswax. Some panel members also noted rhubarb – lightly astringent - then ‘Rich Tea biscuits dunked in stewed tea’, gingerbread manuka honey and a trace of star anise. Rich and smooth to taste; sweet (toasted marshmallow on a stick), with tobacco and chilli spice in the finish. Drier and more woody at reduced strength, with linseed oil, melted butter with oats, ground-nut oil, pancake batter and spice. The taste remains sweet, smooth and spicy. ‘Mango tea’ was mentioned, with mixed dried fruits, as in Christmas mince pies.
