この上もなくすばらしい色に、フランス風アップルタルトの豊かな香りが伴う。 やがて白桃とカスタードが香り、のちにステムジンジャー（生姜の砂糖菓子）入りのシロップスポンジと クランチー（チョコバー）に落ち着く。ドイツスズランあるいはエルダーフラワーの花の香りもする。加水 前の味は、かなり甘く、口当たりは濃厚̶トーストしたブリオッシュ、グリルしたアプリコットとカスター ド̶ココナッツのあと味が長く続く。加水すると、香りに後者の特徴があらわれ、濁っている蜂蜜、クリー ム、アプリコットの種が漂う。口当たりはベルベットのようになめらかで甘く、コクがあり、かすかにメン ソールの味がして、あと味が長く続く。 蒸溜所の名前の由来は、古代英語の“ 聖者の場所” からくる。 カラー：深紅－ゴールド （1.1）　　 ■ソサエティ日本支部の一言 【チョコレートクランチのアイスバー、リンゴの芯、スイートジンジャー。甘いパン生地と至福の甘さ。】 Excellent colour, with a rich scent of French apple tart, then white peaches and custard, then settling as syrup sponge with stem ginger and Crunchie. Also a floral note (Lily of the Valley or elderflower). At natural strength, the taste is very sweet and the texture thick - toasted brioche, grilled apricot and custard - with coconut in the long finish. The latter comes through on the nose when water is added, along with cloudy honey, cream and apricot stones. Now the texture is velvet smooth, sweet and full and slightly mentholated, with a long finish. The distillery name may derive from the Ancient British for ‘the place of the holy man’.
