パネリストは、自己主張は控えめだけど人を引きつける香りだと感じる。―ペンキ塗りたての歯科待合室の向こうにある、甘くスパイシーな香りの世界―ジンジャー、ナツメグとクローブ、トフィー、レーズンとクロワッサン、バナナ、オレンジ、バルサミコ、シガーとコニャック。 加水すると、アップルサイダー、洗いたての洗濯物、レモンバームとレモン味の大麦湯が香る。蜂蜜のたっぷり入ったリンディスミード（蜂蜜酒）のこの上もなくすばらしい甘味とともに、塩漬けのビーフ、プリッツェル、グラッパのような生き生きとした味の印象も受ける。加水すると甘さは持続され、ペパーミントとレモン味のホットトディがあらわれる。フィニッシュは、リコリス味のキャンディの詰め合わせ―実に口当たりが良い。 蒸溜所の名は、‘大きな小川’を意味する。 カラー　ピノ・グリージョ(0.5) ソサエティ日本支部の一言【 レーズンパンやチョコチップ。甘く複雑な味わい。】 Our panellists found the nose attractive, though quietly assertive – beyond a freshly-painted dentist’s waiting room, was a land of sweet and spicy fragrance – ginger, nutmeg and clove, toffee, raisins and croissants, banana, orange, balsamico, cigars and cognac. Water added apple cider, fresh laundry, lemon balm and lemon barley water. The palate bestowed superb, exquisite sweetness, like heavily honeyed Lindisfarne mead, but also some lively taste impressions of salted beef, pretzels and grappa. With water, sweetness persisted, but we now discovered spearmint and lemony hot toddy with liquorice allsorts on the finish – very quaffable indeed. The distillery name means ‘big stream’.
