[ノーズ]たくさんの花の香り、エルダーフラワー、ヘザーハニー、すみれ、ヒヤシンスなど庭のイメージ、バニラ、ルバーブやグースベリージャムのようなシャープな感じのキャンディ屋さん。 [パレット]味わいは甘くフルーティー。オレンジとレモンゼリーのスライス、サマークリーム、ルバーブキャンディとプラム。何か素敵で暖かい生姜のような甘くピリッとスパイシーな要素も感じる。いったん味わいが抜けるとナシのキャンディ、アプリコットジャム、リコリスのマジパン、フィッシャーマンズフレンズのタブレットでフィニッシュ。ヌガーとフォンダンアイシング、アイスクリームを添えた缶詰のナシ、長く続くフキタンポポキャンディのドライでスパイシーな後味。 The nose gave us various floral, garden impressions (elderflower, heather honey, parma violets, hyacinth), candy store vanilla and chalky sweets combined with the sharpness of rhubarb or gooseberry jam. The palate was sweet and fruity – orange and lemon jelly slices, summer creams, rhubarb rock and plums, but with some nice, warm, spicy tingles – the rhubarb jam now had definite ginger. The reduced nose found pear-drops, apricot jam and marzipan with liquorice and Fisherman’s Friends warming up the finish. The palate acquired nougat and fondant icing, tinned pears with ice-cream and a long dry, spicy aftertaste of coltsfoot rock.
