「クール」なウイスキー ‘Icy – Chill’

ボグマートル、月桂樹、スイートピー、レモングラスの清潔で爽やか、甘くてハーブ系の芳香が、ピーナッツバター・チョコレート・アイスクリーム、アーモンド・バナナ・スムージーと並んでパネルを迎えた。最初の味は非常にドライで、シャープ、わずかな酸が味蕾を刺激し食欲をそそる。基調にはフローラルな甘さがあったが、水が必要だという点で全員が一致した。 加水した香りにはエルダーフラワー・ソルベ、ブルーラズベリー・スラッシュパピー、雪の中に咲くスノードロップという冷たさの中にある甘さを見つけることができた。加水で味は劇的に変わり、バニラカスタードスライスのクリーミーな甘さとチャイ味ビルヒャーミューズリのスパイシーなナッティさが現れた。 Very clean, fresh, sweet and herbal aromas of bog myrtle, laurel, sweet peas and lemon-grass greeted the Panel next to peanut butter chocolate ice cream and an almond-banana smoothie. The initial taste was hot, almost harsh, with a sharp, sour and slightly acidic tart note. There was an underlying floral sweetness but we all agreed that water was needed. The nose now had an icy chill of elderflower sorbet, blue raspberry Slush Puppie and snowdrops blooming in the snow. The taste changed dramatically and had the creamy sweetness of vanilla custard slices as well as the spicy nuttiness of Bircher chai muesli.
