[ノーズ]はっきりとした香りが時間をかけて現れてくる。熟したプラム、ジューシーなバニラ、オレンジ箱、ダンネージ式倉庫と木彫りで飾り立てた日本の寺。繊細な麦わらの香り、川と高価なトリュフ。最初の一口で、軽いタンニン、塩キャラメルそしてドライマンゴー。
[パレット]バニラ、オレンジケーキ、メロンやアケビがすぐに出てくる。加水すると、厚みが増し、磨いたアンティーク、匂い玉、パイプたばこそしてチョコレートの香り。味わいは加水によって非常によくなり、オレンジカスタードやダークチョコレート。
This was a nose to behold. We spent some time exploring layer upon layer of excellence. Ripe plums, juicy vanilla pods, orange boxes, dunnage warehouses and ornate wood carvings in a Japanese temple. Delicate hints of straw, leather and precious truffles. On first sip, light tannins (plum stones), salted caramel and dried mango. The flavour evolved constantly, with vanilla, orange cake, melon and Akebi fruit. A splash of water and the plot thickened; polish on antiques, pomanders, pipe tobacco and chocolate. The mouthfeel was thick and luscious and water increased the intensity, with orange custard and dark chocolate.
