魅力的で心そそるトップアロマがグラスの底から湧きたち、私たちはふらふらと誘い出された。キャラメルワッフルとミルクチョコレートビスケット、マシュマロクランチバー、ミリオネアのショートブレッドがバーボンのバニラウッドスパイスを巻き込み、飲み手の注意を引こうと主張してくる。ストレートの味わいは良い感じでホットでスパイシー、ウッディ。遅摘みのリコリスのアクセントを伴いながらキューバ産の手巻きシガーの甘さがある。加水ではと可視バターとストロベリージャムを添えたブリオッシュ。味わいはぐっと柔らかくメローになった。まるでチョコレートコーティングバナナとダブルバナナのメレンゲのようだった。 An attractive, enticing aroma lured us right from the beginning deep into the glass. Aromas of caramel wafer biscuits, milk chocolate Hobnobs, Rocky Road marshmallow crunch bars and Millionaire’s shortbread all of them, engulfed in a Bourbon vanilla wood spice, were fighting for our attention. The taste neat had a lovely hot, spicy, woody and sweet balance of a hand rolled Cuban cigar with a late nip of liquorice imp. Diluted, it turned into a toasted brioche with warm butter and strawberry jam. The taste was now soft and mellow, like chocolate coated foamy bananas and double vanilla meringue cookies.
