このウイスキーはクリームブリュレ、乾燥トウモロコシの入った袋、全粒粉ビスケット、鉛筆の削り屑の香りが現れてくるまですこし時間がかかる。軽く華やかなアロマがレモン・メレンゲ・パイの気配とともに花開く。
芳醇な味わいには白コショウのぴりりとした刺激があり、また高級なバニラアイスと草の香りも舌に届く。
加水すると、鉛筆の削り屑がさらにはっきりしてくる。また、よりシロップ感も増しかすかなオレンジとゼラニウムも香る。木の香りと摘みたての花を伴った、澄んだ軽やかな味。この島の蒸溜所はロッホ・ナ・ダヴィ湖の清廉な水を用いている。

This dram took a little while before it started to reveal aromas of crème brûlée, sacks of maize, digestive biscuits and pencil shavings. Light and floral aromas developed with hints of lemon meringue pie. The rich taste was hot and nippy with white pepper and also offered us expensive vanilla ice cream and grassy notes. With water, the pencil shavings were more pronounced, it was also more syrupy and there were hints of oranges and geraniums. A clean, light taste with woody notes and floral freshness. This island distillery takes its water from Loch na Davie.
