柔らかく、優しく、少しひんやりした芳香がパネルを迎えた。時間と共に、甘くクリーミーな香りが現れた – ミント・バタークリーム入りチョコレートケーキ、次いでシナモン風味ホイップクリーム添えブラックベリー・パイ。
ストレートの味では果物とスパイシーなテーマが続いた – ブランブル・ジャム入りホットクロス・バン、しかしチョコレート・カスタードとダークチョコレート「バウンティ」バーの風味もあった。
加水すると、香りは実にフルーティに – 白ブドウとクランベリーのジュース、キウイ、パイナップル、そして伝統的な英国のシェリー・トライフル。味はトロピカル・スムージーのようになり、アップルタイザーのやさしい刺激も残った。
A soft, gentle, slightly cooling aroma greeted the Panel. With time, sweet and creamy notes emerged; chocolate cake with mint buttercream and then blackberry pie with cinnamon flavoured whipped cream. The taste neat continued with the fruit and spicy theme; hot cross buns with a bramble jam filling but also flavours of chocolate custard and a dark chocolate Bounty. With water very fruity on the nose; white grape and cranberry juice, kiwis and pineapples as well as a traditional British sherry trifle. The taste now like a tropical smoothie as well as leaving you with the gentle fizz of an Appletiser.
