[ノーズ]熟成年数からは想像できない程、繊細で若々しいフレッシュさを兼ね備え、バランスの取れた甘く香るスミレとジャスミン、続いてムスク、土っぽさ、微かなタールと革の香り。
[パレット]バランス良く、複雑さを感じると同時にウイリアムクリストペアブランデーのようなフルーティーさ、オリーブオイル、ガーリックと削った黒トリュフのマッシュルームパスタのような繊細で暖かな味わい。ごく最低限の加水をすると、イチゴ、ゴートチーズのロケットサラダの胡椒が効いて甘いながらもピリッとした甘くジューシーな魅力的なフレーバーを感じ取れる。
The scent combines the subtlety of age with the freshness of youth, beautifully balanced fresh fragrant floral sweet violets and jasmine next to musty, earthy, a little tar and leather aromas. The taste neat was equally balanced revealing a complexity but at the same time a fruitiness (William-Christ pear brandy), subtlety and warmth – like mixed wild mushroom pasta made with olive oil and garlic topped with shaved black truffles. If you wish add the smallest amount of water (it can hold it) which introduced a fascinating flavour of a strawberry, goat cheese rocket salad to the meal – peppery, creamy, tangy, sweet and juicy.
